As a member of the 7th Executive Committee, I played a key role in empowering young women leaders. Serving as YWLC’s Director of Marketing & Communications, I led a subcommittee of over 30 members, streamlining internal processes, driving strategic marketing initiatives, and producing stories and thought leadership content that celebrated women leaders, internal milestones, and external partnerships. The team received the Community Cares Award at the Volunteer and Partner Awards event organized by the Ministry of Social and Family Development. The event recognizes individuals and organizations for outstanding contributions to social and community causes.
Before stepping into the role, I was the pioneer Deputy Director on the Event Marketing team, where I developed and executed event marketing campaigns for YWLC’s social media channels.
Conceptualized in 2008 by Mrs. Lim Hwee Hua, Singapore’s first female Cabinet Minister, YWLC is dedicated to shaping the next generation of women leaders in Singapore. As part of the People's Association network, the organization benefits from the guidance of Minister Grace Fu, who serves as its Advisor.
YWLC focuses on four core pillars — Leadership Development, Mentorship, Social Impact, and Networking. Through its esteemed one-on-one mentorship programme with leading women professionals and a robust suite of leadership initiatives, YWLC nurtures young women in their professional and personal growth. Members also gain access to exclusive networking events and meaningful volunteering opportunities, fostering a strong community of empowered women.
