Arrival Day
Participants are expected to arrive between 16h and 18h at the Hostel Ardennen-Eifel in Sankt-Vith (check the page 'venue' for more details). Dinner will be provided for everyone that first evening.
This is a provisional example of the program of the week.
This will be updated in detail at a later stage.
To give you some general ideas about the program, we have identified the following:
Practical & Erasmus+ information session
Expectations, contributions, and fears –setting personal and group goals & agreements
Artistic exercises
You will be provided with a literal toolbox with hands-on foster creativity in your children and youth worker team.
Reflection: personal and group-based learning moments
Focusing on the follow up activities (dissemination)
The obligatory program is always until dinner. All activities after dinner will be almost always optional. You are of course very much welcomed to participate, but if you would rather load your (social) batteries in different ways, this is completely accepted.
During the program, we try to take into account your time and space in Belgium. Therefor we offer also a free afternoon & evening in the program. More detailed updates will come later. Should the info here not be suffice for you to know exactly if this training course is supportive for your learning, feel free to email to internationaal@joetz.be to ask your questions, we will provide answers with maximum care for your learning goals.
Departure Day
On the departure day, breakfast is your last meal. Participants are expected to leave after breakfast (between 9-10h). To travel as stress-free as possible that day, it is better to find flights/bus/train tickets in the evening (after 17h). Belgium is a small country but to get from the location to an airport can easily take up to 3-4h's of travelling with public transport.
