Scholarship

• Successfully completed Year One of the Doctor of Education in Educational Technology Leadership program.

• Collaborated as a co-author on the manuscript A Thematic Literature Review of All But Dissertation: A Systematic Review Examining Doctoral Persistence, Institutional Support Systems, and Educational Leadership Implications.

• Submitted the manuscript for consideration to the Northeastern Educational Research Association (NERA) and the American Educational Research Association (AERA) 2027 Annual Meeting.

• Refined my dissertation interests from broad educational technology leadership to a focused emphasis on artificial intelligence literacy, digital citizenship, and equitable technology integration.

• Submitted book proposals for a children's series focused on artificial intelligence literacy, digital citizenship, and responsible technology use.

• Began developing a research agenda centered on ethical artificial intelligence implementation in K-12 education.

Professional Presentations

• Co-presented the webinar Culturally Responsive Teaching and Social-Emotional Learning Practices in the Era of Artificial Intelligence hosted by the NJCU Educational Technology Department on November 24, 2025.

• Co-presented Simulation-Based Learning: From Classroom to Corporate at the 40th Annual New Jersey Educational Computing Cooperative (NJECC) Statewide Educational Technology Conference on March 10, 2026.

• Attended the Professional Development Institute on August 27-28, 2025.

• Attended the William Paterson University School-University Partnership Powerhouse Conference on October 22, 2025.

• Participated in the New Jersey Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (NJACTE) 8th Annual New Jersey Convening for Diversifying the Teacher Workforce on October 9, 14, and 21, 2025.

• Attended the NJCU Educational Technology webinar Trailblazers of AI Teaching: The ChatGPT Adoption Story.

• Attended the NJCU Educational Technology webinar Faculty: Learn How to Dance, Not Wrestle with AI: Best Practices for Ethically Introducing Artificial Intelligence into the Classroom.

Community Engagement and Professional Service

• Volunteered at the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) Teachers' Convention on November 6-7, 2025, representing the Educational Technology Leadership Department and engaging educators from across New Jersey.

• Volunteered at A. Harry Moore School's Trunk or Treat on October 31, 2025.

• Facilitated a STEM family engagement activity where elementary students explored engineering concepts through hands-on learning to make stress balls.

• Participated in Reading Day at my son's elementary school by reading to multiple classrooms.

• Represented the College of Education during Reading Day at A. Harry Moore School, providing information about teacher certification pathways and graduate programs.
