The capstone of the Work and Wellbeing in History Project was the Job Quality from the Past to the Future Conference, held at the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters on 22 August 2024. We were delighted to have Professor Chris Warhurst (Warwick) as our keynote speaker, and an excellent and multidisciplinary group of international speakers from labor history, labor economics, sociology, and future of work policy research.

Oslo FRESH: Work and Wellbeing in History

The Work and Wellbeing in History Project hosted the Oslo FRESH (Frontier Research in Economic and Social History) meeting in June 2023. We welcomed an international and interdisciplinary group of scholars interested in labor and quality of life in the past and present. The final program is available here.
