Territorial Historian Mr. Toni Ramirez: November 19, 2019

Mr. Toni gave a beautiful presentation about Guam. He didn't just tell a story. He actually brought us into Guam's culture and made us understand how it was before. They was he Brought chanting into the way he told the story and "cried" to made the way he told the story more interesting was just amazing.

During his whole presentation what stood out to me was how he talked and dressed. You can tell that hes old fashion and is really into Guam's culture. I noticed he took the part of telling us the story very seriously. I liked how he made us understand by relating it to things today. he had a great personality and was so sweet.

TELEPHONE SKILLS October 17, 2019

How do you answer the telephone in a professional way,

I learned to answer the telephone with a smiling attitude. To not rush the conversation, always be polite and mannerly. The proper way for me to answer a telephone for example would be "Hafa Adai, thank you for calling GCC tourism at sanchez, Jorja speaking. How may I assist you?".

Some hotels that had the best telephone skills were Lotte and Guam Plaza. They both answered with a smiling attitude. They also took there time to ask us what we needed and how to assist us. After hearing what we had to say they both didn't just transfer us right away. They were both very mannerly, patient and polite.

GCC PRESENTATION September 26, 2019

The presentation given to us by Ms. Oliveros was very helpful. I feel like all the things she covered really helped me in term to what i wanna do school wide. She covered collage paths for example D.C.A.P.S. and CLYMER. I actually never heard about either of those programs before she explained it. Both programs gave us big head start opportunities to collage and i found it very helpful.

During the presentation I learned that I can earn credits from work hours. I also learned that I can get my mastery by also achieving 180 hours of work experience and earned an average of a "B" in this class for all 3 years. I thought it was very helpful knowing that I can get a head start on classes. Especially that there are possible ways to go to collage for a cheaper price range or even free.
