ABOUT ME:

I am a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the New York Institute of Technology, where I am also a Graduate Research Assistant under the supervision of Professor Jerry Cheng. My research interests lie at the intersection of machine learning and blockchain technology with the application of healthcare and cybersecurity. I am also passionate about improving traditional software engineering (SE) approaches for blockchain-oriented and intelligent software development. My goal is to improve the quality, safety, security, and privacy of emerging software products.

Prior to joining NY Tech, I completed my first year of doctoral studies at Kennesaw State University, where I also earned an MS degree in Software Engineering. I worked as a Graduate Research Assistant under the guidance of Professors Hossain Shahriar and Maria Valero, and I completed several NSF and NIH-funded projects. My scholarly contributions have been published in prestigious academic venues such as IEEE, ACM, Elsevier, and Springer Nature. My research has been recognized with multiple Best Paper Awards and NSF travel grants.

Most recently, I was a SciAuth Fellow at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) at the University of Urbana-Champaign. I also worked as a Fellow for the RCE's SDGs Future Fellowship program. In addition to my academic experiences, I had the privilege of working as an Information Systems and Communication Technology intern with the United Nations. I also gained industry experience as an R&D Software Engineering Intern at Material Handling System Inc.

I am passionate about research, and I am always eager to embrace new opportunities. I am dedicated to discovering the potential within myself and the projects I undertake. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you are interested in collaborating or have an exciting opportunity to share.
