We build well-being using Resonant Language®, polyvagal theory, and art therapy.
Resonant Language® enriches communication by understanding the impact of language on the nervous system and the ability to regulate it. According to Sarah Peyton (creator of this approach), when people change the way they speak to themselves, they change the way their brains work. The workshop includes information on how our nervous system works, based on the latest advances in neuroscience. The basic elements of Resonant Language® will be presented, along with the space for participants to practice and experience it, in order to develop the warm tone of their inner voice.
Introduction to Resonant Language® and Nonviolent Communication (NVC)
Marshall Rosenberg, the creator of Nonviolent Communication, calls all judgmental, critical, and stigmatizing expressions in our communication violence. Practicing Nonviolent Communication in everyday life, whether in personal or professional relationships, develops and deepens skills in building relationships with others based on dialogue and mutual respect. Resonant Language® further enriches communication by understanding the impact of language on the nervous system and the ability to regulate it.
'Extremely Conscious Living' through Art Therapy with Elements of Resonant Healing
Miki Kashtan, a visionary and Nonviolent Communication trainer, wrote the "Resolutions" in her book "Extremely Conscious Living" (Volume II). They can become a compass, a reminder, a framework that can support us on the path to conscious living – a life of choice and with a greater scope of awareness and inner freedom. In addition to the spoken word, we will utilize art therapy tools and elements of Resonance-based therapy (Resonant Healing). Thanks to the selected tools, we will be able to listen to our inner voice without censorship and without the "what should be." The classes are especially designed for those seeking inspiration and support in finding the strength to live nonviolently, even in unfavorable circumstances, in working for social change, and ultimately, in balancing self-care with care for others.
'Weaving Togetherness' Using Theatre/Role-Playing Methods, Nonviolent Communication (NVC), and Resonant Healing
During the sessions, we reenact real-life scenes, seeking space to build bridges of understanding. The facilitator helps participants hear and understand each other and develop solutions that meet everyone's needs.
Dialogue Circles
In a Dialogue Circle, each participant can express their perspective, how they feel and experience the current situation, and hear how others experience it. The session is led by a person or persons who ensure an atmosphere of safety and respect. Statements are reflected, meaning the facilitator responds to what they hear, drawing on needs and deeper meanings to give the participant a sense of being heard and understood, and to help others accept and understand their perspective.
Dyadic Inner Voice Encounters
This is a unique time for listening to oneself in the attentive presence of a companion. Two participants take turns exploring responses to the questions. One person speaks, while the other person is present and listens. There is no conversation. The structure of this practice, proposed by Simone Anliker, supports us in connecting with our inner guidance, wisdom, and energy. It is a time when we create a safe space for discovery, exploration, and connection with our inner voice.
Brain Dance / Neurodance
Dancing activates the brain's sensory and motor circuits in a way that helps reduce stress and promotes the formation of connections essential for memory and executive functioning, influencing concentration, calmness, and a sense of contentment. Developing coordination during dance classes increases the volume of the hippocampus—a brain structure responsible for memory, connecting memories with emotions and sensations, and spatial orientation. It's worth dancing before an exam and maintaining a regular practice throughout life to maintain good health.
Concentration and Relaxation
Living in large urban areas, a very active and exhausting lifestyle, stress at work, constant racing thoughts, a state of nervous tension, and physical fatigue can lead to detrimental consequences over time. It's worth learning various techniques that help achieve a state of relaxation, calm, and concentration. The program includes relaxation techniques by Jacobson and Schultz, visualizations, the use of sound and vibration in relaxation, breathing techniques, an introduction to meditation and mental concentration, and mindfulness (mindfulness practice).
Warm-up
A gentle entry into the day, incorporating elements of mindfulness, bodywork, and breathwork. A morning warm-up provides a solid foundation for the day's events and increases our capacity to accept potential challenges with grace, curiosity, and openness to collaboration. Step by step, we build resilience and invite more peace and ease into our lives.
Creating Good Childhood Experiences
The workshop aims to develop practices and solutions for building good childhood experiences based on knowledge from relatively recent research on positive and negative childhood experiences (PACEs/ACEs studies). Each participant works on what is possible and feasible in their context.
Informed Consent
This workshop is based on Betty Martin's concept of the Consent Wheel and the practice of listening to one's own needs in accordance with the philosophy of Non-Violent Communication (NVC). Participants are invited to experience and reflect. Elements of belief work and physical contact may be included.
The 5 Love Languages - Practical
During this workshop, we will explore the 5 love languages and the power of putting them into practice.
The 5 love languages are:
- Words
- Time Together
- Help
- Touch
- Gifts
The main intention is to create a space where we can feel the energy of love, nourish ourselves with it, and increase our capacity to give and receive it. This is a unique workshop inspired by Gary Chapman's concept.
Caring for Relationships - Saying "No" with Care, Relationship Toxins, and the Process of Reconciliation
Sometimes our statements are perceived differently than we intended. Communication toxins can even creep into our relationships. This can have a negative impact on the relationship, especially during sensitive moments.
During this workshop, we will examine the 4 main relationship toxins identified by Dr. John Gottman, particularly in the context of the emotions and needs behind them. This will increase our chances of achieving understanding. Participants will also learn two important process models derived from NVC/Resonant Healing: saying "no" with care and the process of reconciliation.
Skills in this area help avoid unnecessary hurt and rebuild relationships when hurt has already occurred. These skills are essential to protecting our relationships from weakening or fading away.
Group Decision-Making That Works for Everyone
From autocracy to democracy to the latest developments in group decision-making, this workshop focuses on identifying the most acceptable, creative, and sustainable solutions in teams or groups, while ensuring ease and effectiveness. This workshop is for those who want to create an environment in which lasting and inclusive solutions are developed.
