Technology Fees

Parents/Guardians who did not pay the Electronic Device Insurance fee by September 30, 2026, or within 30 days of enrollment, will be held responsible for the total cost of any and all repairs and/or replacements.

Students experiencing tech issues should report it ASAP by submitting a SmartPass including the problem in their request, and upon acceptance, report to the JMS Library with their device and/or charger. 

• Chromebook Replacement Cost - $450

  • A lost or stolen device is not covered under EDI Fee. Parents/Guardians are responsible for the cost of replacements.

• Power Adaptor - $35

  • Lost or damaged chargers are not covered under EDI Fee. Parents/Guardians are responsible for the cost of replacements.

• LCD Assembly - $160

• LCD Palmrest Assembly with Keyboard - $90

• Motherboard - $230

• Touchpad - $25

• Battery - $80

• LCD Back Cover - $40

The Electronic Device Insurance fee will not cover habitual occurrences of damage or intentional damage. A device needing to be repaired more than (3) three times in a school year will be deemed to be a habitual occurrence.
