Submit a Video

If you are interested in submitting a video to the JMRA, please review the requirements and follow the instructions below.

Requirements

  1. You are either a graduate student (at any level), or a PhD recipient and do not yet hold a permanent or tenure-track position.

  2. You have a completed research paper, either as a preprint on the arxiv or published in a journal.

  3. Your research lies in one or more of the following areas: Algebra, Algebraic Geometry, Analysis/Probability, Combinatorics, Mathematical Logic, Number Theory, or Topology/Geometry.

Instructions

  1. First fill out this proposal form by the corresponding deadline (see the timeline below).

  2. We will email you shortly after the proposal deadline notifying you if your talk as been accepted.

  3. If your proposal is accepted, record a 15-30 minute talk (we suggest about 20 minutes). Further instructions on how to submit your video will be sent with your acceptance letter.

  4. Your video will be housed on our website (under "Videos") and YouTube channel. Please make sure to review your post, and notify the organizing committee, at juniormathRA@gmail.com, if you find any mistakes.

Timeline

We will be accepting videos between July 2021 and June 2022

Monthly timeline:

5th of each month: Proposal Deadline

10th of each month: Acceptance letters sent by the committee

20th of each month: Video submission deadline

1st of each month: Videos posted and advertised
