Welcome to the Mixed-Signal Integrated Circuits Laboratory at Jeju National University
Research Area
Research Overview
JMICL specializes in mixed-signal IC design, focusing on high-speed, low-power, and compact data converters (ADCs/DACs). Our research targets diverse applications, ranging from ultra-high-speed communications (SerDes, 5G, WLAN) to automotive, medical, and sensor technologies.
Key Research Areas
Ultra-High-Speed Architectures: Giga-to-tens of Giga S/s ADCs utilizing Flash, SAR, Pipeline, and Time-Interleaved structures.
Advanced Error Calibration: Algorithms compensating for offset, gain, and time-skew mismatches.
High-Resolution Architectures: High-resolution converters utilizing Delta-Sigma Modulators (DSM) and noise-shaping techniques
Wideband Interface Design: High-performance input and clock network design.
