Welcome to the official website of the Jamaica Middle East Diaspora! The Jamaica Middle East Diaspora is a voluntary organisation of Jamaican patriots living in and around the Middle East and the Gulf. The group was formed in 2016 and has initiated a number of impactful projects in Jamaica. The group is social and business. As a social group, JMED has organised numerous link-ups connecting Jamaicans with their love of reggae music, food and fun.

JMED supports Karate Team

The JMED crew was at hand to support the Jamaican competitors firstly in competition and then later facilitating their visit to the Jamaica Pavilion at the Dubai World Expo. Lennox Christie, our social activities leader was at hand to give them some JMED love. Thanks to all members of the JMED community who contributed to making this event a success. The Jamaica Middle East Diaspora organized an airport meet and greet for The Jamaica Special Olympics Team. A total of 73 athletes is competing across 8 sporting arenas, representing the black, green and gold at The Special Olympics World Games in Abu Dhabi from March 14-21st!
