"Empowering Knowledge: A Gateway to Comprehensive Nursing Resources" 

The J.J. College of Nursing Library offers an extensive array of resources designed to support the academic and research needs of our students, faculty, and staff. Our diverse collection ensures that users have access to the most current and comprehensive information in the field of nursing and beyond. With these resources, the J.J. College of Nursing Library aims to provide a rich and supportive environment for learning, research, and professional growth. We continuously strive to update and expand our collection to meet the evolving needs of our academic community.

Books Our library boasts a collection of over 2,000 books, including the latest editions in various fields of nursing and healthcare. We have recently procured 383 new books that are now available for circulation, ensuring our users have access to the most up-to-date information and resources.

Reference Books We maintain a robust selection of reference books, offering in-depth information on a wide range of topics. These resources are invaluable for quick consultations and detailed research.

Journals The library subscribes to 14 national and 6 international journals, providing users with access to the latest research findings, reviews, and articles in the field of nursing and healthcare.

E-Resources Our Digital Knowledge Centre offers a wealth of e-resources, including e-books, e-journals, and databases. These digital materials are accessible anytime, anywhere, providing convenient access to vital information.

OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) The library’s Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) is a user-friendly system that allows users to search for and locate books and other materials within our collection quickly and efficiently.

Special Collections We have dedicated sections for various types of resources, ensuring that users can easily find the materials they need:

• Stack Section: A comprehensive collection of books organized for easy access.

• Reading Section: A comfortable and quiet area for reading and studying.

• Reference Section: A wide range of reference books for in-depth research.

• Circulation Section: Facilitates the borrowing and returning of books.

• Periodicals Section: Access to our collection of journals and magazines.

• Digital Knowledge Centre: Provides access to our digital and online resources.

KOHA Automation Our library is fully automated with KOHA open-source software, streamlining the management of our resources and enhancing the user experience. The KOHA gate entry system ensures secure and efficient access to the library.
