Library Rules

Membership

Students, research scholars, faculty, and staff of J.J. College of Nursing are eligible to become library members.

Reference Access

The reference section is open to students, staff, and faculty of affiliated colleges and institutions for in-house reference with permission.

Borrowing Facility

• Books are issued for 15 days to students and 30 days to faculty.

• The number of books that can be borrowed varies by membership category.

Rules and Regulations

• Personal belongings are not allowed in the library.

• Books are issued to students, research scholars, and staff for 15 days and to faculty for 30 days.

• Book renewal is allowed once, if the book is not in demand.

• A fine of Rs. 5 per day is charged for overdue books; after 10 days, the fine increases to Rs. 10 per day.

• Underlining, writing in, or damaging books/journals is strictly prohibited.

• Lost books must be replaced; if a replacement copy is unavailable, the latest cost of the book  must be paid.

• Readers should not re-shelf books or journals after use.

• Strict silence, decorum, and cleanliness must be maintained.

• Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited.

• Prior permission is required to use laptops for accessing e-resources.

• Valuable items or important documents should not be left at the library; the library is not responsible for such articles.

• No outside or personal books are allowed for reading in the library.

• The librarian has the right to recall issued books if necessary.

• Without issuing of books can't be taken.
