About Me

Hello, my name is Jirehl M. Maghari, and I came from Lemery, Iloilo. I am currently a student at Northern Iloilo State University - Ajuy Campus. I am 20 years old and in my second year of college, pursuing Bachelor of Secondary Education with specialization in English. In my family, there are three of us - my mother, father, and myself. Unfortunately, my mother passed away last April 2023 due to her illness. Currently, I am living with my grandmother. Teaching was not initially my biggest aspiration. I had always wanted to become an architect, but due to financial instability, I was unable to enroll in a school that offered an architecture program. However, despite the challenges, I have come to enjoy and appreciate the field of education. It is fulfilling and rewarding to see children learn and know that I have made a positive impact on their lives.

I was inspired to pursue a Bachelor of Secondary Education with a specialization in English through a combination of personal interests and circumstances. Initially, I had dreams of becoming an architect, but financial constraints prevented me from pursuing that path.

However, despite the challenges I faced, I discovered a deep passion for teaching and found immense joy in making a positive impact on the lives of others. The opportunity to help students learn and grow, especially in the subject of English, became a driving force behind my decision to pursue a degree in education.

Furthermore, my own experiences with English and language learning have played a significant role in my inspiration. I have personally found joy in the process of learning and mastering the English language, and I have a strong desire to share that enthusiasm with others. The prospect of contributing to the education sector and making a meaningful difference in the lives of students has further solidified my choice to specialize in English within the field of secondary education.

Additional Information:

- I am an INFP (Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Perceiving). INFPs are often described as idealistic, creative, and deeply in tune with their emotions. They value authenticity and personal growth, and they are often drawn to careers and activities that allow them to express their creativity and make a positive impact on others.

- I have an interest in Anime and Korean Dramas. K-Dramas and anime provide a form of entertainment and escapism from everyday life. They offer me a chance to immerse myself in fictional worlds, experience different genres, and enjoy the excitement and suspense that comes with each episode or series.

- I enjoy voice acting.

- Singing and music are also passions of mine.
