Behind the Concept

Codename: Seska was created as an original PS1-inspired sci-fi shooter concept, imagining a spiritual successor to the atmosphere of late 90s action games such as Codename: Tenka. The biomechanical sci-fi horror aesthetics of the 1999 film Virus played an important role, inspiring the exploration of the fusion between organic life and advanced technology.

The idea behind the soundtrack is to recreate the feeling of discovering an unknown threat: abandoned facilities, corrupted experiments, biomechanical creatures, and environments where the boundary between machine and living matter has disappeared.
