As of Fall 2025, Jinsoo Choi is a fifth-year PhD candidate at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he also earned a master's degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology (in May 2024). He is originally from Seoul, South Korea. Before coming to the USA, he completed dual bachelor's degree programs in Management and Counseling Psychology (both earned in February 2018) as well as a master's degree in Psychology (earned in July 2019) in South Korea.
