Precursor additives

 Conventional NCM cathode materials are commonly produced through complex coprecipitation processes that require precise control of reaction conditions. Our research explores a coprecipitation-free synthesis strategy using metal-based precursors to achieve homogeneous mixing of Li, Ni, Co, and Mn. This simplified approach enables the formation of a well-defined layered structure with suppressed cation mixing, providing a promising pathway toward efficient and scalable production of high-performance NCM cathode materials.
