About the Site

This website was created by Shae Smith, a freshman at James E. Dottke PBL High School, for a project in her history class. The class focuses on how music has shaped and impacted history. Shae chose Jinjer, both due to loving the band and the messages they send with their lyrics. With their addressing of important topics, such as war, capitalism, and crime, she thought they were a perfect fit for a band that is impacting the tragedies in the present world with their unique sound.
