Hi, I am an Assistant Professor of Business Administration in Information Systems at the Gies College of Business, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I received my Ph.D. in Information Systems from the Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington.
My research interests lie at the intersection of causal inference, machine learning, and digital platforms. I am particularly fascinated by questions related to social media, education, and society, and I enjoy tackling complex problems by addressing underlying methodological challenges. My research methodologies encompass machine learning, econometrics, structural modeling, and controlled experiments.
I received my bachelor's degree from the School of Economics and Chu Kochen Honors College at Zhejiang University, China. Prior to my Ph.D., I studied and worked at the Research Institute for Interdisciplinary Sciences at SHUFE.
