I am an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at the Foster School of Business, University of Washington in Seattle. I completed my Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University. I received my B.A. in Economics from Stanford University.
My research examines the social and economic consequences of information technologies, with a focus on understanding how advances in technologies affect individual behavior, firm decisions, and public policy. I utilize a range of empirical approaches in my research, including econometrics, structural modeling, and machine learning. I collaborate closely with industry partners, government agencies, and medical institutions to access large-scale datasets and address research questions with practical and policy implications.
