Welcome to my website! I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Paris School of Economics, where I work with Professor Oliver Vanden Eynde on the key themes of the ReCIPE initiative. I obtained my PhD in Economics from Université Catholique de Louvain in August 2025, under the supervision of Professor Joseph Gomes.
My research interest lies at the intersection of political economy and development economics, focusing on the political economy of conflict. My current work explores two key areas: (i) the role of illicit trade, mineral resources, and conflict, and (ii) the effectiveness of international peacekeeping and conflict resolution policy in Sub-Saharan Africa. Through my research, I aim to illuminate the complexities of political economy and actor incentives, contributing to conflict resolution strategies that foster sustainable peace and economic resilience through evidence-based analysis.
