Jim's Books, Inc. is now collecting children's board books for the St. Joseph's Society in Elizabeth, N.J.
Jim's Books, Inc., a tax exempt organization recognized by the IRS was established in 2025 by Amy Nagle, mother of James Denton Nagle, who passed away in 2020 in Columbus, Ohio at the age of 24. Amy wanted to establish the literacy charity after her son since he was working on becoming a Language Arts teacher for middle and high school. The purpose of Jim's Books is to encourage literacy among the youth by providing book grants to food banks and shelters in New Jersey and Columbus, OH. Jim's Books will also encourage the teaching of literacy by providing a college scholarship for student teachers enrolled at Montclair State University in N.J. and Capital University in Columbus, OH. Also, Jim's Books provides volunteer tutors to help students obtain their GED or Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB).
