I was born in South Korea and spent most of my childhood in New Zealand after a short stay in Fiji. Then I moved to the United States, where I completed my bachelor's and master's degrees at The Ohio State University and Indiana University Bloomington respectively. Currently I am living in Germany and working on my PhD.
