Yan Bai (University of Rochester) 

Yan Bai is an Associate Professor at the University of Rochester. Bai's research is within international economics and macroeconomics, with a focus on finance related research. Bai has previously been a visiting scholar at Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, University of Yale and Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. Additionally, Yan Bai is an associate editor of the Journal of International Economics.

Swati Dhingra (LSE)

Swati Dhingra is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science, researching globalisation and industrial policy.

She is co-author of the recent “Life after Brexit” report published by LSE’s Centre for Economic Performance, which looked at the UK’s options outside of the EU. She is also associate editor of the Journal of International Economics.

Amit Khandelwal (Yale University)

Amit Khandelwal is the Dong-Soo Hahn Professor of Global Affairs and Economics at Yale University. He holds affiliations at the National Bureau of Economic Research and Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab. Khandelwal’s research examines the link between international trade and economic development, particularly focusing on firms. He has studied how trade reforms in China and India affected firms’ participation in global markets and their underlying productivity.   In recent work, Khandelwal has analyzed the impacts of the US-China trade war. Khandelwal has a separate interest that explores using satellite imagery to measure economic activity.

Dmitry Mukhin (LSE)

Dmitry Mukhin is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics (LSE). He is also a research affiliate of the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and an associate at the Centre for Macroeconomics (CFM). Prior to joining the LSE, he worked as an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University, and spent a year as a postdoctoral associate at Yale University. His research focuses on the exchange rates, international monetary system, optimal monetary and fiscal policy in open economies.

Pablo Ottonello (University of Maryland)

Pablo Ottonello is an Associate Professor at the University of Marlyand. Much of Ottonello’s research focuses on macroeconomics, particularly on its interaction with financial markets. Outside of his research, Ottonello is an associate editor of the Journal of International Economics.

Stephen Redding is an the Harold T. Shapiro '64 Professor in Economics at Princeton University. His research focuses in international trade and economic geography and productivity and economic growth.
