Jido Solitaire is a single-player card game. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the app and how it is used.
You can play Jido Solitaire entirely as a guest, with no account — in that case, almost nothing described below applies to you. Creating an account is always optional and only adds the features described in "Account Information," below.
If you play as a guest (no account) — the default:
We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal information.
Your game statistics (games played, games won, win rate) are stored only on your device and are never transmitted anywhere.
If you choose to create an account (optional):
Jido Solitaire lets you optionally create an account — using Sign in with Apple or an email address and password — so your stats carry over between your iPhone and iPad. If you create an account, we collect and store the following in our cloud database (Google Firebase):
Your email address (only if you sign up with email/password, or if you choose to share your real email through Sign in with Apple — Apple's "Hide My Email" option is fully supported and works normally)
A username you choose
An internal account identifier
Your game statistics (games played, games won), synced across your devices
This data is used solely to operate your account and keep your stats in sync — it is never sold, and never used for advertising.
Diagnostics:
The app uses Google Firebase Crashlytics to automatically collect basic crash and error reports if the app unexpectedly stops working, so we can fix bugs. These reports are not linked to your identity or account.
Basic app analytics:
We use Google Firebase Analytics to see basic, aggregate usage such as how many games are started, won, or lost, and whether a player is a guest or has an account. This data is not linked to your individual identity.
Information collected by our advertising partner (Google AdMob):
Jido Solitaire is a free app supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob. All ads shown in Jido Solitaire are non-personalized — we do not use your Apple advertising identifier (IDFA) or any other cross-app tracking to target ads to you, and Jido Solitaire does not show Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt because it has nothing to ask permission for. To serve a non-personalized ad, Google AdMob may still automatically collect limited technical information needed to deliver and measure that ad, including:
IP address
Device type and operating system version
App usage data (ad interactions, impressions), not linked to your identity or used for cross-app tracking
This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. For full details on what Google collects and how it is used, please see Google's Privacy Policy.
If you created an account, you can permanently delete it at any time directly in the app: tap the account icon (top-left of the game screen) → Delete Account. This permanently removes your username, email, and game statistics from our servers. If you signed in with Sign in with Apple, deleting your account also makes a best-effort attempt to revoke Jido Solitaire's access on your Apple ID, so it no longer appears in your list of apps using Sign in with Apple (Settings → [your name] → Sign in with Apple). Your account and all associated data are always deleted regardless of whether this Apple-side revocation succeeds; in the rare case it doesn't, you can also remove the connection yourself at any time from that same Apple ID settings screen.
Deleting your account does not delete anything for guest play — a guest was never linked to any stored data in the first place.
Jido Solitaire offers an optional, one-time in-app purchase ("Remove Ads") that permanently disables all advertising. Once purchased, Google AdMob is no longer used and none of the advertising data described above is collected going forward. This purchase is processed entirely by Apple's App Store — Jido Solitaire never receives or stores your payment information.
Jido Solitaire does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and it does not show Apple's "Allow Tracking" prompt, because it has nothing to ask permission for — every ad shown is non-personalized and contextual only.
Jido Solitaire is rated 4+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are the parent or guardian of a child and believe personal information has been collected, please contact us at the email address below.
Guest play: nothing is stored anywhere except your own device. Uninstalling the app clears it completely.
Account holders: your email, username, and game statistics are kept in our cloud database until you delete your account in-app (see "Deleting Your Account," above), at which point they are permanently removed.
You have the right to:
Delete your account and all associated cloud-stored data at any time, in-app
Delete all local game data by uninstalling the app
