Shizuoka* Overseas Volunteers Association (SOVA) was established in December 2005 by JICA Senior Volunteers who returned to Japan.

The purpose of SOVA is to promote the mutual study and fellowship of each members and to share the experience of international cooperation with the local community and contribute to the revitalization.

*Shizuoka is one of prefecture in Japan.
