About the Practitioner

Janet Tang, MSc, BSc, BA, Dip Tuina, MBAcC, MATCM

Janet obtained both her MSc and BSc degree qualifications in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Middlesex University and has been a full member of both the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture UK (ATCM) since. She has also obtained a Diploma in Tuina (acupressure massage).

She has been working as part of the teaching team for Asante Academy of Chinese Medicine at its main clinic in Archway and Highgate and at The Chinese National Healthy Living Centre, which is a charity TCM clinic in Central London. She has worked at the Maternity Ward at the Whittington Hospital specialising in treating different kinds of conditions relating to pregnancy and in helping to reduce pain during labour. She has also worked part-time in two of the NHS hospitals in London as an acupuncturist in the pain clinic.

She is well experienced in treating depression, stress, insomnia, impotence, irritable bowel syndrome, hay fever, eczema and various kinds of pain. She specialises in gynaecology and infertility for both men and women. Over the years of experience, she is also confident in treating miscellaneous idiopathic ailments with success.

She was also trained in cosmetic facial acupuncture at The College of Chinese Medicine and is qualified at Level 3 NVQ in Beauty Therapy.
