Make a Tangible Impact: Directly contribute to initiatives that promote climate resilience, revitalize traditional practices, and foster sustainable development in the Chittagong Hill Tracts and beyond.
Gain Valuable Experience: Develop new skills in areas such as research, community outreach, project management, and environmental advocacy.
Connect with a Purpose: Work alongside a diverse and passionate team committed to social and ecological change.
Learn and Grow: Deepen your understanding of indigenous knowledge, agricultural practices, and the challenges faced by local communities.
Be a Part of Something Bigger: Help shape a sustainable future and advocate for environmental equity.
Be an Advocate: Use your voice and skills to raise awareness, educate others, and champion environmental justice for marginalized communities.
We welcome volunteers from all walks of life, with varying levels of experience. While specific skills are valuable, your passion, commitment, and willingness to learn are what truly matter. We encourage applications from students, researchers, environmental enthusiasts, community development workers, and anyone eager to contribute.
Our projects are dynamic and diverse, offering various roles that cater to different skills and interests. Some common areas where volunteers can assist include:
Research & Documentation: Help us gather data, conduct surveys, transcribe interviews, and organize information related to Jhum practices, ecological impacts, and community needs.
Community Outreach & Engagement: Participate in organizing and facilitating workshops, awareness campaigns, and educational sessions within local communities and educational institutions.
Content Creation & Communication: Assist in developing compelling stories, articles, social media content, visuals, and educational materials to share our mission and impact with a wider audience.
Event Support: Lend a hand in planning, logistics, and execution for various events, seminars, and awareness drives (like our recent participation in the NSTU Research Fair or University Day Celebrations).
Technical & Administrative Support: Provide assistance with data entry, report writing, online research, or other organizational tasks that keep our operations running smoothly.
Field Support (Local Volunteers): For those based near the Chittagong Hill Tracts, opportunities may arise to assist directly with on-ground project implementation, farmer training, and community interaction.
Application Review: Our team will carefully review all applications received by the deadline. We appreciate your patience during this process.
Interview/Discussion (If Applicable): If your profile aligns with our current needs, we may reach out for a brief virtual interview or discussion to get to know you better.
Welcome to the Team! Once selected, you'll receive an orientation and guidance to start your journey with Jhum Revolution.
We are incredibly grateful for your interest in joining the Jhum Revolution. Every hand, every mind, and every voice contributes to our shared vision.
