Research Interests

Natural products play important roles in biological systems and provide privileged structural skeletons & inspirations in drug design. We focus on developing powerful & operationally simple synthetic methods that could lead us to those privileged skeletons of natural products as well as biologically relevant structures. We expand the utility of the developed synthetic methods by applying them in total synthesis of natural products and constructing chemical library for discovery of new drug candidates.
