Hello!
I am an applied microeconomist who uses a combination of economic theory and empirical methods to study the extent to which historical events, particularly those involving racist acts or racially motivated incidents, have impacted the political behavior and economic outcomes of individuals. My current academic scholarship lies primarily at the intersection of political economy, cultural economics, and economic history.
My work has been published in the Quarterly Journal of Economics, American Economic Journal: Applied Economics, AEA Papers and Proceedings, the ANNALS of the American Academy of Political and Social Science, and the Review of Black Political Economy.
