Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program

WIC is health and nutrition program for:

  • Pregnant women

  • New Mothers

WIC provides:

  • YWCA Meals on Wheels

The program provides prepare meals once a week for adults 60 years and older. Home delivered Frozen Meals are provided for the whole week.

  • Norwalk LA Care and Blue Shield Community Resource Center Food Pantry

The Local Community Resource Center hosts a food pantry open to the public every 2nd Friday of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. where they give away bags of fresh vegetables. No appointment is needed and drop in's are welcome. *They also give non-perishables on an as-needed basis.


  • City of Norwalk Social Services Center Emergency Food Pantry

Emergency food assistance is provided to individuals and families in Norwalk facing crisis situations. This service is made possible by the City of Norwalk and through public and private donations. If you are in need of assistance, please call (562) 929-5544.
