How to Join JFKSWCS?

JFKSWCS maintains a structured and controlled recruitment system to ensure only qualified and committed personnel join the unit. There are two official entry paths:

1. Direct Selection (Fort Martin)

Selections are conducted live at Fort Martin by certified JFK Instructors. During the selection, candidates are evaluated on discipline, responsiveness, ability to follow instructions, and overall performance under direct supervision.

If a candidate successfully passes the selection:

• They are selected as a JFKCS Candidate
• They are assigned to the company of the instructor hosting the selection

Candidates do not officially become members of JFKSWCS at this stage.
They must first complete and pass the John F. Kennedy Candidate School (JFKCS).

Company placement is determined by the instructor conducting the selection.

2. Company Applications

Applicants may submit an application directly to a specific company within JFKSWCS.

This process allows candidates to:

• Select the company they wish to join
• Present their qualifications and experience
• Demonstrate interest and commitment

Applications are reviewed by Company Staff.

For Officer positions, applicants must also complete a formal text based interview to evaluate leadership ability, communication skills, and understanding of standards.

If accepted, the candidate will be assigned to the selected company.
