About JFKSWCS

The John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School (JFKSWCS) is responsible for delivering the United States Army’s most advanced badge and leadership training. From elite and technical qualification courses, JFKSWCS sets the standard for excellence, discipline and professionalism.

JFKSWCS prepares soldiers for demanding and specialized roles, ranging from high-altitude operations, precision-based combat skills and highly technical medical emergencies. Its many instructors represent the highest level of discipline and knowledge within the Army. Only the most qualified personnel earn the opportunity to instruct at JFKSWCS, ultimately achieving the distinguished Green Beret.

The structure of JFKSWCS consists of two special warfare training groups and a total of four companies. Each company is tasked with hosting specific specialized courses and/or managing educational selections and phases. Across the command, JFKSWCS currently operates seven individual courses, each designed to test, refine, and elevate soldiers to a whole new level of standards.

Through strict and grueling training, experienced leadership, and a commitment to excellence on all levels, JFKSWCS continues to shape capable, disciplined, knowledgeable mission ready soldiers for the United States Army.
