By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Jewelry Identifier - AI Verify (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (the “Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old, or at least 16 years old if you are located in the EEA, to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
Jewelry Identifier - AI Verify is an AI-powered jewelry identification assistant that helps users identify and appraise jewelry by allowing them to:
Capture or upload a photo of a jewelry piece
Receive AI-generated jewelry identification and estimated valuation results
View jewelry details and key facts
Save favorite identifications for later reference
Access identification history
Use subscription features, including higher usage limits and an ad-free experience when available
The App uses third-party AI and image-processing services to analyze user-submitted images. Availability, speed, and quality may vary based on network conditions, third-party services, device performance, image quality, and other factors. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
The App may use device-based identifiers or app-instance data to manage subscription status, identification limits, feature access, and abuse prevention.
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the security of your device
All use of the App from your device
Ensuring you have the right to use the images you submit
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we detect abuse, fraud, unauthorized automation, attempts to bypass limits, or violations of these Terms.
You agree to use the App only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes unless expressly permitted by us in writing.
You may not use the App to:
Upload, generate, or share illegal, defamatory, hateful, harassing, violent, or explicit content
Upload images you do not have the right to use
Infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights
Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, extract, or attempt to obtain model weights, training data, datasets, or source logic
Bypass paywalls, usage limits, access restrictions, or subscription controls
Resell outputs as a standalone paid jewelry identification or appraisal service or bulk dataset
Use the App for professional jewelry appraisal, insurance valuation, regulatory compliance, or gemological certification without appropriate expertise and licensing
Use bots, scripts, or automated systems to access the Service at scale
Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination.
You retain rights to the original photos you submit. JanoGroup LLC, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the App, software, interfaces, branding, AI systems, compiled outputs, and all materials other than content you provide.
Free-tier access grants a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only, subject to lifetime usage limits.
If you purchase or activate a paid subscription or trial, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use premium App features during the active subscription period, including higher identification limits and ad-free access where offered.
Paid access does not grant the right to:
Resell outputs commercially
Build a competing identification service from App outputs
Perform automated bulk export or scraping
Represent App outputs as professional jewelry appraisal, gemological certification, or insurance valuation
AI-generated identifications may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or unavailable. Jewelry pieces can appear similar across styles and periods, and results may vary significantly based on image quality, angle, lighting, surface reflections, condition of the piece, and third-party AI performance.
Do not rely solely on the App for:
Purchase, sale, insurance, or legal decisions regarding jewelry value
Professional appraisal, authentication, or certification decisions
Protected-item, provenance, or cultural-property law determinations
Investment or financial decisions
Scientific research, academic citation, or legal documentation
Always consult qualified professionals, official regulations, or authoritative resources when accuracy matters.
Parts of the App rely on third-party providers, including AI, analytics, payment, advertising, and platform services. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, pricing changes, intellectual-property disputes, or output issues caused by those providers.

Additional terms:
Each successful identification counts toward the applicable daily or monthly limit.
Free-tier access includes up to 2 successful identifications total and does not reset automatically.
Premium limits reset monthly based on the applicable billing or tracking period used by the App.
Unused identifications do not roll over unless expressly stated in-app.
Promotional trials or introductory offers, if available, may convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before renewal.
Billing, renewals, cancellation rights, and refunds are handled by Apple, Google, or another applicable app marketplace, except where otherwise required by law.
Prices, offer availability, subscription names, and usage limits shown in the App or app-store listing control over any examples in these Terms.
We may update pricing, plan structure, or limits at any time to reflect operational costs, service changes, legal requirements, or provider changes.
The App uses machine-generated outputs. Results may:
Misidentify visually similar jewelry styles, periods, gemstones, metals, or materials
Fail on blurry, dark, cropped, or low-resolution images
Omit important details about craftsmanship, hallmarks, materials, authenticity, or provenance
Be affected by image angle, surface reflections, lighting conditions, or wear and patina on the piece
Differ over time as providers, models, or reference systems change
We do not guarantee continuous uptime, uninterrupted access, or any minimum level of identification accuracy.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, process, and store information, including uploaded images, app analytics, subscription state, and device-related information.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR RELIABILITY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JANOGROUP LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS, REVENUE, PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR REPUTATION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP OR RELIANCE ON IDENTIFICATION RESULTS.
THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSSES OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM:
Misidentification of jewelry pieces, gemstones, metals, or materials
Regulatory or legal violations based on App output
Financial, investment, or insurance decisions
Purchase, sale, or auction decisions made based on App output
Third-party outages or AI-provider errors
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 25.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JanoGroup LLC, its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to:
Your use or misuse of the App
Your submitted content or photos
Your violation of these Terms or applicable law
Your reliance on jewelry identifications without appropriate expert review
Any injury, loss, or dispute arising from actions taken based on App output
These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will be resolved by binding arbitration under the AAA Consumer Rules, conducted in English, in Washington, DC or virtually, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
You and JanoGroup LLC agree that disputes will be brought only on an individual basis and not as part of any class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding.
You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing janogroupllc@gmail.com with the subject line “Arbitration Opt-Out.” If you opt out, exclusive jurisdiction for disputes will lie in the state or federal courts located in Washington, DC, to the extent permitted by law.
You may stop using the App at any time and may cancel subscriptions through the applicable app-store account settings.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access immediately if we believe you have violated these Terms, abused the Service, attempted to bypass restrictions, or created legal, security, or operational risk.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ends immediately. Any provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute-resolution provisions.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes may be communicated in-app, through release notes, or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and JanoGroup LLC regarding the App and supersede prior or contemporaneous understandings relating to the App.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. We may assign or transfer these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
