Collaboration, Communication, Creativity, and Critical Thinking:
The Four Cs are vital 21st-century skills that prepare students to solve problems, share ideas, and work effectively in today’s world. Students will be learning the Four Cs, which are considered the most needed skills to succeed in today’s world. These skills are not only important in the classroom and workplace but also essential in personal life. A combination of all these skills helps students solve problems, work together, and develop solutions.
Working Together in the Classroom
Proper collaboration within our multicultural world means having an active engagement and pursuit of selflessness, citizenship, and a diplomatic character in order to build a stronger community regardless of each other's differences. Multicultural education is the nourishment and active appreciation of our youth and a reflection of what we want to see in our world.
Communicating ME in the Classroom
Effective communication can help build and foster a safe learning environment where students can be themselves so that they can have the ability to actively participate to their full potential within the classroom. By teaching at a multicultural level and by acknowledging that all students have something new or different to offer, one can promote a more responsive classroom and promote multicultural awareness within the classroom.
Technology in the Classroom
While teachers are the most important aspect of learning, technology can highlight and extend the better attributes of a teacher. By properly integrating both instructional technology and creative instruction, teachers can effectively improve how they communicate their material to students and help improve how students think, learn, and share!
As time goes on and as our world progresses with an abundance of information, information can become easy and unreliable. The CRAAP test is a great guide for students who want to find reliable and trustworthy sources. The CRAAP is short for Currency, Relevance, Authority, Accuracy, and Purpose. This can come in handy for any short case studies or additional review assignments given in class. Take a look check how well your sources are!
