As a massage therapist, my goal is to aid my clients to experience relief in their bodies, minds and spirits. I aim to empower each individual I work with to utilize somatic tools that anyone can use to regulate their bodies, not just professionals. Massage is not about gatekeeping the secrets to a restful existence-- it is there to provide a door to reprieve and support. 

Work on the table or the mat follows a moment of connection between me and my client; during intake, we have a conversation and begin building a rapport. I follow my appointments up with demonstrations and suggestions on how to sustain the results we've achieved during a session. To me, these pauses to dialogue are just as important as the bodywork itself. 

I work with anyone with a desire to experience rest and ease in their body. Acute and chronic pain, trauma or injuries, as well as those with more invisible pathologies. Massage is for everyone, and I believe it is a tool that can allow us to feel safe in ourselves when we trust the process and the professional.
