Interviewing an Agency Employee

During this assignment I have learned how to research an organization throught the web, contact a representative via e-mail and phone calls, and conduct an informative question and answer formal interview with a representative to gain further insight as to what the agency does, and how they support young woman and their families.

Learning a new digital design platform (Infographics)

During this assignment I was introduced to a new program called piktochart. This digital creation platform helped and guided me to complete a digital infographic. I also learned what an infographic is. A detailed short overview of a topic that includes several visual images as well as data collection charts and graphs.

Respect for Young Moms

During this assignment I have gained a more understanding of the depths that young woman endure after finding out they have become pregnant. Not only do they face struggles and difficulties through pregnancy, but the struggle only continues after they give birth to their child. Becoming a mother at any age brings forth challenges, but for a young woman to experience these same challenges, often with no support system in place can be very difficult. It is remarkable that Jessie's Centre is there for these young woman and their families.
