Figma Website - FemmePsychology
Project Description:
For my Interactive and Visual Design module in my first year, I was assigned to a group and requested to create an interactive prototype using Figma.
FemmePsychology was created as part of a group project during year 1 of college. It is mainly targeted toward anyone who has an interest in psychological theory as well as anyone who has experienced some form of loss/ trauma. (i.e., loss of a loved one/relationship/job).
The main goal of FemmePsychology was to design a website that is easy to navigate as well as refreshing to look at. We decided to use a colour palette that mainly consisted of pastel colours, this makes our website easy to look at by not being too harsh on the eyes. The pastel colours also tie in well with our theme of Women in Psychology.
Problem Statement:
Using UX and UI design techniques, create an interactive website prototype, based on a topic in Psychology.
Learning Objectives:
Gain an understanding of UX and UI principles, and become familiar with techniques such as paper prototyping, and personas. Implement design principles such as font hierarchy and colour palettes.
Learner Outcomes:
I created a prototype website design that was interactive, easy to navigate, and read. I implemented UX and UI design techniques.
Colour Palette
These colours worked very well together to create a website that looks sophisticated, bright, and strong.
