J.B. Moon's research centers around describing how landscape context and disturbance alter the spatio-temporal dynamics of microbial communities and their processes in wetland ecosystems and downstream waterbodies. See Projects for more details.
She founded Ecoscape Analytics LLC in 2018.
Hi! My name is Nadia Castillo. I am a senior in the 4+1 Earth and Environmental Science program. I'm studying methods of quantifying methane ebullition to better understand the microbial processes occurring in the soils of wetland ecosystems.
Hi! My name is Delaney McCoy, but everyone calls me Del. I’m a junior from De Soto, Missouri, majoring in biology and minoring in wildlife conservation. Here at Murray State, I am also a member of the Honors College and participate in the Racer Band. My research includes using mesocosms to determine the impact that differences in microbial habitat patterning have on ecosystem functioning.
My name is Ryan Gillum and I am currently pursuing a degree in fisheries/aquatic biology at Murray State. I enjoy hiking, hunting, fishing, and research. I enjoy researching aquatic ecosystems, and diving deeper into the world that lies just beneath the surface.
