About Me

I'm a professor of mathematics at Pacific Lutheran University. I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Oregon in June 2001, under the guidance of Professor Frank Anderson. My scholarship interests are in the areas of math and art, math and pop culture, recreational math, and abstract algebra. I also create mathematical art. Here is my cv.

In my free time, I enjoy writing short fiction, watching horror movies, doing escape rooms, and spending time with my cats.
