Current position: Associate Professor of Applied Mathematics, LUT University, Lappeenranta, Finland.
Other associations: I'm a PI in the Flagship of Advanced Mathematics for Sensing, Imaging and Modelling (FAME) of the Research Council of Finland.
Citizenship: Finnish.
Languages: Finnish (native), English (fluent), Swedish (basics).
Civil status: Married since July 2015 and a father of one child. We also have a husky dog (check out boy's Instagram)!
2024: Title of Docent in Mathematical Foundations of Inverse Problems at Computational Engineering, School of Engineering Sciences, LUT University, Finland.
2019: PhD degree (with distinction) in Mathematics at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland.
PhD thesis: Geodesic Tomography Problems on Riemannian manifolds
(advisor: Prof. Mikko Salo).

Academic activity: A member of scientific committee for Finnish Mathematical Days 2026, organizing committee for 2 conferences, organizer of 2 minisymposiums, referee for 10+ different journals, several research talks, many travel grants, etc. Membership of the Inverse Problems International Association (IPIA), the Finnish Mathematical Society (SMY) and the Finnish Inverse Problems Society (FIPS) .
