Teaching

I am the coordinator for the Msc. in Economics and Business Administration - Business Intelligence at Aarhus University. Below, you can watch a short video that presents the program.

Msc. Business Intelligence degree presentation

I currently teach deep neural networks in the courses Machine Learning for Business Intelligence 2 and AI for Business Intellince.

Semester: Spring

Offered: 2024

The purpose of this course is to expand the foundation provided in Machine Learning for Business Intelligence 1 to advanced non-linear machine learning techniques for modelling and prediction from data. The course enables students to understand the models, intuitions, and strengths and weaknesses of the various approaches without diving into the technical details behind the methods. In particular, the overall goal is to empower the students to become informed users of advanced machine learning techniques, thereby preparing them for their future roles as data scientists or business intelligence consultants.

Generative AI with LLMs

Semester: Fall

Offered: 2024

The aim of this course is to provide students with the foundational knowledge and practical skills necessary engage with generative artificial intelligence (AI) with Large Language Models (LLMs). Students will learn how to (1) choose an LLM, (2) adapt it through prompt engineering, fine-tuning and/or reinforcement learning, (3) evaluate its performance, (4) deploy it and (5) augment it using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). Upon completion, students will be able to build a state-of-the-art LLM-powered application, from data gathering and model selection, to performance evaluation, deployment and augmentation.
