Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel.
The workshop will be held in lecture theatre 311 in the Huxley building (Maths and Computing) of Imperial College London. This is located in A2 of this map of the South Kensington Imperial College campus. It is very close to the Albert Hall.

The Huxley building should be entered from the `Sherfield walkway' as in the map below -- the main entrance on Queen's Gate can't be accessed without an Imperial swipe card.
Entering the Huxley building from the walkway (which doesn't require a swipe card) you should see directions to lecture theatre 311 and a registration desk for the conference.

The Huxley building department is on the West side of the Imperial college campus in South Kensington -- see the map below. It is a short 10-15 minute walk from the Underground stations Gloucester Road and South Kensington (both on the District, Circle and Picadilly lines)
Air: London's main international airports are Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and City. From Heathrow, Imperial College can be reached by taking a direct Piccadilly line Underground service from the airport terminals to South Kensington. This takes approx 45 minutes - 1 hour. From Gatwick airport, one may take a regular train or (the more expensive and slightly quicker) Gatwick Express train to Victoria Underground station, and then South Kensington is a few stops on the Underground District line.
Rail: Imperial College is easily reached by Underground from London's main rail termini, whether for domestic (National Rail) or international (Eurostar) rail services.
For those travelling by Underground, the Physics department is closest to Gloucester Road and South Kensington stations, both of which are served by the Piccadilly, District and Circle lines. Buses 9, 10, 49, 52, 70, 74, 360 and 452 stop reasonably close to the venue. Imperial lies at the heart of a cultural district that includes several prominent museums The Natural History Museum, the Science Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum are all a short walk away. Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens are about 100m to the north. Kensington Gardens is home to the Sepentine Gallery.
The shopping areas of Kensington High Street and Knightsbridge (including the Harrods department store) are also within easy walking distance.
