Dr. Jeremy Sullivan is an education leader dedicated to equity, innovation, and instructional excellence. He began his career through the Urban Teaching Fellows program in New York City, teaching in an alternative middle school serving high-needs students. This experience affirmed his belief that education is the most powerful tool for advancing social justice and ensuring opportunity for all learners.
Dr. Sullivan went on to teach English Language Arts at Nixa High School in Missouri, where he led collaborative teams, supported intervention efforts, and advocated for student belonging—earning national recognition for his work with the school’s GSA. He later served as a classroom teacher and blended learning mentor at Central High School before transitioning into district-level roles supporting instructional technology and professional learning.
As a Learning Specialist in Springfield Public Schools, Dr. Sullivan coached over 400 teachers across multiple sites, providing professional development in research-based instruction, trauma-informed practices, social-emotional learning, blended learning, and equity-focused teaching. He led Cognitive Coaching cycles and supported PLC development through the Adaptive Schools framework.
Now serving as Director of Innovative Learning and Student Supports for North Kitsap School District in Washington, Dr. Sullivan leads district-wide initiatives to foster equitable, adaptive learning environments. He oversees technology integration, library media programming, and professional development aligned with instructional goals. His work emphasizes innovative learning frameworks, digital citizenship, and student voice—ensuring technology serves as a bridge to deeper learning, not a barrier.
Dr. Sullivan's current focus is on the purposeful and meaningful implementation of artificial intelligence in education. He designs and facilitates AI training for educators, develops guidance and policy, and leads conversations on how AI can enhance instruction while maintaining ethical and equity-centered practices.
A frequent presenter at regional and national conferences, Jeremy shares strategies for leveraging technology to create inclusive, engaging, and future-ready learning environments. He finds his greatest inspiration in his four children, who remind him daily why this work matters.
