To say that teaching is important to me is an understatement to say the least. While working with students can be temporarily frustrating, it is ultimately an incredibly rewarding experience. There is nothing like the intended compliment "Wow, you really got me thinking," or even the unintended compliment like, "You made us read, write, and think a lot. I think too much." The greatest of all, though, are the students that come back, even when they are done with my class, because they are excited and want me to know about all they are accomplishing.
