Educational Journey
Mr. Frie is a proud graduate of Byron High School, Class of 1996. Go Bears! His passion for education led him to Minnesota State University, Mankato, where he became a three-time graduate. He earned his bachelor’s degree in English Education in 2001, followed by a master’s degree in Educational Leadership in 2009, and a master’s degree in K–12 Administration in 2011. Continuing his commitment to lifelong learning and leadership, Jeremy completed his Superintendent Licensure through St. Mary’s University in 2021.
Career Path
Mr. Frie brings over two decades of experience in education, including 12 years in school administration and four years as a superintendent. He has proudly served as the Superintendent of Dover-Eyota Public Schools since 2022. Prior to that, he spent nine years at Minneota Public Schools, serving as the 7–12 Principal from 2017 to 2022 and the K–12 Principal from 2013 to 2017. Before moving into leadership roles, Jeremy spent 11 years in the classroom as a high school English teacher in Medford Public Schools (2002–2013) and began his career teaching junior high English in Yuma, Arizona (2001–2002).
