Genre: Stealth Game

This my first team project, it was really early on and i had near no experience with game development, but this project helped me, to work with my team, and getting used to UI and level Design.
UI
In this project i made an item icon, a small square that shows what kind of item the player picked up. My thought was that it would only appear when you picked up an item so that it wouldn’t make the screen feel cluttered and I made an animation for it to fade in or fade out.
I also made different types of frames that would appear when the main character gets chased by the antagonist to give player feedback on when the lizard is pursuing the player,. The last week we realized that our map was to small. To have a frame that blocks the players view most of the time would get annoying. we reworked it for another use, when the player hides in the bushes frame would appear, making it much clearer, that it is a hiding spot and you are unseen by the lizard.
We needed a tutorial and it was my job to make it, i had to understand how the movement code worked to implement my tutorial that would show the player how the movement buttons are.
UI
In This project was my first time working in a group project, I had to make The UI and create the First Tutorial showing the controlls, My Idea with the Tutorial UI was to make it Interactive, showing right away what their actions do, it won't dissapear until they do exactly what the prompt shows them to do. This is a CO-OP game so the unless they have to be patiant with each other to remove the Tutorial UI.
I also Made a UI to show what item they are currently holding but we had to scrap it beacuse we had an idea to have as little UI in the screen as possible so to not over crowd the screen.
