The 8th Judicial District has 'secreted' the Exhibits attached to this Complaint from the Public. According to the Clerk administrator, any exhibit attached to a pleading is automatically 'protected.' The criteria for blocking exhibits from the public has to do with SS numbers, hospital records ect. You will note that these Exhibits do not meet that criteria, yet the Public is not allowed access to these exhibits.

The 8th Judicial District removed Judge Jouard and transferred the Susan Holmes case to Judge Julie Kunce Field. This 'transfer' took place once the First Assistant Attorney General Jessica Chavez Salazar appeared and then requested a 22 day extension at the end of January 2019. The 'transfer' took place during the 22 day extension. Judge Field accepted & adjudicated this case for two months before notifying the Plaintiff that she had a bias. Her husband & other relatives have been working for Colorado State University. Her State financial disclosures reveal she receives monies from CSU.

Susan Holmes has been requesting copies of the unredacted body camera footage since July 2017. The lead investigators told her she could not contact them. The police agencies would not provide any details, even after the so called 'criminal investigation' had been completed by July 2017. The only reason Holmes was allowed to view the body camera footage was due to the intervention of CBS News. Susan Holmes was forced to view her son's death under highly secured & very controlled circumstances at the FC police station, surrounded by the people who killed her son.

Susan Holmes requested records From Colorado State University based on the Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) and the Colorado Criminal Justice Records Act (CCJRA). Holmes requested copies of the original, unredacted body camera footage from Officer Phil Morris and Officer Katie Aron. Officer Aron is the third police officer involved in the homicide of Jeremy Holmes. The District Attorney, investigating agencies and local media never reported on her or her body camera footage. Officer Katie Aron was present in Jeremy's older brother's apartment prior to Morris executing Jeremy Holmes. They both heard Jeremy scream, yet that scream never appeared on the 'edited' body camera footage released to the public and in the police viewing on November 16, 2017. There are many details missing from the body camera footage video.
