I am a conservation biologist studying how biodiversity responds to environmental change across landscapes and spatial scales. My research combines ecoacoustics, landscape ecology and quantitative approaches to investigate the effects of anthropogenic pressures—including land-use change, renewable energy development and emerging stressors—on wildlife communities. While bats remain my primary study system, my work increasingly adopts multi-taxa perspectives, including pollinating insects (especially bumblebees) and soundscape ecology, to improve biodiversity assessment and monitoring. By integrating passive acoustic monitoring, functional ecology and spatial modelling, I aim to develop robust indicators linking ecological processes to evidence-based conservation and management.
Since 2024, I am a professor (associate) at the Marie and Louis Pasteur University (Chrono-Environnement lab)
