Hello! My name is Jeran Culina and I am currently the Education Project Manager at Talent 2025. Our mission is to facilitate an efficient collaboration that integrates resources, streamlines processes, and leverages energies to address the talent demand needs of each sector.
I grew up in Holland, MI, and then took my education to the great state of New York (well, upstate NY). I attended the State University of New York in Buffalo starting out as a Physical Therapy student. After a few years of that, I decided it was not something I was passionate enough about. I ended up switching my major to an Interdiscipinary of Social Sciences which would set me up to get into the MSW (Master's in Social Work) program. I graduated in 2010 with my bachelor of arts.
My life since my bachelor's has led me to many extraordinary experiences. I have had the opportunity to work as an advocate for families in the Perry Projects of Buffalo, NY. I have also been able to serve my West Michigan Community as an enrollment specialist for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lakeshore. My love for education was formed when I worked in Mt Clemens, MI, and could finally understand the importance of putting together my love for social work and my passion for educational reform.
Seven years after receiving my Bachelor's in Social Sciences I started my Master of Arts in Education. At the end of August, with my master's in hand, I will be excited to see where my life takes me next!
